Im just past 3 months out and I still have bad days where Im sick :9529:and its not nice is it?

Friday I tried a litte bit of sausage my pouch didnt like it and I was ill all day not good then last night it was a little tiny bit of ice cream low fat I might add and again pouch wasnt happy and neither was I so yet again another early night for me I hoping I dont make it a hat trick and get sick again tonight lol.

I feel ok today just like I did yesterday so fingers xd:nono:I will be ok hehe

So whenever someone says to me oh you took the easy way out OMG I will let rip on them coz its not it is one of the most hardest things I have ever gone through but Im still glad I have as I love my weightloss even though it has been a bit slow its still alot faster than what it would of been on ww or sw.

Happy valentines day to all hope you all have a fab day im going to try to hehe love n hugs lin.x

Your weight loss isn't slow hun!!A stone a month is fine according to my surgeon:DI had the same probs a s you until about 6 months post op, but the key is to eat slowly and small bites:D

i agree with u, this op defo is not the easy way out, infact i think it harder than actually going on to a diet if u know what i mean, i find my pouch is very tender in the morning, i find it so hard to eat in the morning so i have a slim fast shake, well half a one with the rest made up with milk. hope ur feeling better today x

Thanks for posts like this Lin... It gives us pre oppers a heads up on whats to come.

I hope today doesn't bring you the hat trick you don't want and instead it finds you getting lots of love and attention xx

Hi well Hun that is the only reason why i havn't told my friends and other people as the first thing they will be thinking is you took the easy way out..
And that is so unfair as there's nothing easy about this its the most hardest thing ever they should be in our shoes and see what its really like and how much we really struggle to keep a little food inside us..
My advice is not to listen to ignorant people just focus on your self and how your going to achieve your goal..best of luck..xx

My first Valentine's Day post op and OH is at Thorntons getting me a little bag of their sugar free chocs. It's funny how the pouch lets us know when it's not happy. (Dont tell anyone but I find myself talking to it!)I am lucky that even if they think it, no-one who know about my op have ever told me they think it's the easy option. And it is so darn hard isn't it? I start my day with a milky coffee, it's all I can face at the start of the day.

Hi Hun

I'm the same. I'm 3.5 months out and i still struggle. I have been geting better tho so there is still hope for us. I can eat the insides of a baked potatoe now with tuna mayo extra light. I can also eat a small portion of corned beef hash and quiche, but i tried cherry tomatoe with quiche and the skin got stuck and made me sick. So I will leave the tomatoe next time.

I can eat half a sausage and i know this because sat morning i had breakfast in a hotel and i ate scrambled egg and half a sausage hehe.

Its only been the last 2 weeks i wasnt sick at every evening meal. Time is a great healer tho x

Good luck babe x

Same here

the pouch has a life of its own :sigh: - it's like it "shrinks away" from what I swallow saying "yeuch I don;t want that in here"

:D

I also cannot eat well in the morning - and I have to eat something before I take the tablets etc - so I find myself playing catch up all day with food and medicine

But I suppose its a small price to pay for the weight loss :D

Me and my husband were speaking about the comment your so called friend made about the cheque.

I'd have been delighted (after the initial shock of course) she said that. Obviously she doesn't like the fact your looking so good lately and finds need to made poisonous comments, but infact she gave you a massive compliment by doing so :8855:It must really bother her hehehe. She had better get used to the new sexy confident you :D :D
