Whats PPI?

Can anyone enlighten me? I don't know if i'm just thick!!

I got a copy of the letter that has gone to my gp after my 6 week check and it says, they will review me in 4 months time and possibly stop my PPI and Urdox. I know what Urdox is but don't know what PPI means...

I think that is the fast tab that we take. Its stands for something pump inhibator or something along those lines....

AHHH! How strange that they are thinking of taking me off them I've been taking them long before any wls...

proton pump inhibitors ppi's stop the production of acids instead of neutralising them. Yup itls be the lanzoprazole or esomeprazole, zoton etc
