Whats the difference.....

Gastric sleeving is more drastic, they actually take away a part of the stomach completely, the bypass they leave the somach there.

It's normally done on the super-morbidly-obese where full surgery would be too dangerous. Generally, after a period of weight loss a second surgery is done which would be either a bypass, or a duodenal switch.

Some private providers are offering a gastric sleeve with duodenal switch all in one as a new procedure for those with a high BMI.
 
Lol Bee it took me nearly 2 years from seeing GP to having surgery, plenty of time for research ;)
 
the sleeve can be changed to a full bypass later if desired ? or have i been mislead ?
