I struggled with liquids and still do, try and have milk at least that way you get calories and nutrients in!
I'm the same!
Slept on my back for about a week and sometimes on the side but that caused pain sometimes.
After a week or so I moved onto stomach and slept better.
I mentioned protein shakes and was told they are OK but meal replacement shakes were better as you get more variation of nutrients, it all depends who your providers are I would ask them!
I have like 2kg of protein mix now :p
My other half he has been very support and helped me out loads, I couldn't have done it alone I'm not that strong willed!
Equipment wise mini freezer pots!
Got 50 on eBay so I never feel I'm eating loads and a pot is only 50ml then just freeze the rest.
I wondered this to and ended up asking!
It's because your body needs the protein to heal after the operation and it's a major part of all your body's functions :)
27 and just had a sleeve!
Never had the skinny and pretty 20 something beach holidays and bikinis that they all seem to have going to do it in my 30's instead!
