50/50 chance

I have just discovered someone I know is having his bypass next week at Walsall manor.
Jeff has some serious health problems and has waited for 2 years to have his op (Mr Khan wouldn't operate before now)and thats from his go ahead from his PCT.
He has been told he has got a 50/50 chance of coming through the op.
I will keep everyone posted on how it goes as soon as possible

Thanks Wendy, If its not too personal, do you know what health problems he has? and why Mr Khan had reservations about performing the surgery?

Wishing him the very best of luck. I think it takes a very brave person to take on the surgery at such high risk. I really hope it all goes to plan.

I think if his health issues are that serious then maybe it's really a chance he has to take.

Have found out that Jeff is going for his op on 24th Feb.
