A little thing that has made my day

Well 3 weeks 3 days post op, and I have put my fav fluffy pink dressing gown on and it now meets in the middle, great. I feel so happy that I am loosing weight. Those people who say being thinner does not make you happy do not know what they are talking about. I am feeling happier than I have in ages,

good for you My old suit jacket that I couldn't do up is like a double breasted now
Thinner is happier (for us anyway)

I used to have a slimming group leader who used to say ''nothing tastes as good as being slim does''!

I've just come back from Matalan where I found a lovely stripey shirt, all soft and stretchy. I tried the 14 on - no chance, tried the 16 - still no chance but they had no 18. It was too much of a bargain to pass up, so I took the 16 to the checkout and said to the girl 'it doesn't fit but it will'. She looked at me like I was a looney! She said 'huh? You can't be a 16'. Oh my goodness, if only she knew that I was a 24 just six months ago.

Hah little does she know that it wont be that long!. before you are back for the 14s.
