Aching back when walking?

Is there anyone who's so overweight there back aches when walking? Mine aches/hurts so bad I end up walking like a penguin and then having to go and rest and it's embarrassing! Does anyone have any pain relieving tips? What painkillers work?

It used to be my ankle after about 5 minutes it would be soooooooo painful, going shopping I had to lean on the trolley, elsewhere I was always looking for a bench to sit on, now 10st lighter I actually take the stairs not the lifts
