what actually happens after op? do you recover and go home like any other operation? or do you go back for checks and things. thanks xx

I went home after 2 nights then went back a month later for a check up. I was doing good so the next appointment was made for 3 months after and I think it's every 3 months for 2 years I think.

remember him saying in on the thursday and out on the monday. having open and my horrible gallbladder complete with squaters removed lol.xx

I had my op on Friday out on sunday morning, back for a check up at 8 weeks( should have been 6 but apparently really busy) then 3 months after that then i think its 6 months then a year x

hi i had op thursday at st richards and was let out sunday i had open but he said i healed so well i came out day earlier so plan for monday and anything else is bonus.
Got check up at st richards 6 weeks later.
Have seen GP for after care he does your sick note and pain killers ect
