air travel after bypass

I read that when they do the bypass they use staples at the top when they make the pouch bit. Do the staples set off the scanner things when you go through the airport security arch thingys?

When I first got the internet I was trying to get an e mail address and everything I tried was already taken. I tried jasonslaphead because I was drinking a cup of coffee and it was in one of those joke mugs you get in card shops that had worlds greatest slaphead on it. It worked and every time I register on a forum or anything like that now I use it because I know that nobody else will have used it yet.

Yes, your staples will not only set off the alarms at airports but will in fact set off all the fire sprinklers too...that is why you have to carry a card with you all the time...........lol

Sorry, only joking, couldn't resist ....They are made of titanium and this metal won't set off the alarms....

However the alarms will go off if you have a coil fitted!

I have a metal plate and pins in my leg and that never set anything off - always wanted to cause a stir! No the staples will not set off any machinery but I would suggest you stay away from large magnets!
