any tests before band?

Hi was just wondering if you get any tests done before a gastric band? I've been reading posts about the sleeve/bypass and they seem to get a few test done and is it the same for a band? Many thanks.

Hi

I suppose it depends on your medical history or if your provider has any concerns. I had a series of blood tests and the usual pre op questionnaires but that was it!

I've been today. I had bloods, urine test and ECG. I have no medical problems so they must be the norm for my provider.
