Oh bless you. It has been a struggle particularly with the allergies & not being able to eat various foods but so worth it. Thx for the support.

Is it just me, or do I just sense alot of struggle to lose weight, when the surgery alone should be a huge help. It just seems that it would not be so difficult. Everyone posts about having to diet and how it's such a challenge. I had my surgery 8 days ago. Lost 18 lbs. because of the required liquid diet. Afterward we are told, no greasy food, no sugar. ???!

thats brilliant,well done you xx

Well done xx

Well done ... What's your next mini goal? X

Surgery is a great help. I've never lost this amount of weight in my life & in a short period. But as everyone post surgery will tell you it is jut another tool. A very useful & fabulous tool but you still have to change your eating habits, diet & lifestyle to be successful at it. I have had eating challenges coz I am never hungry or ever want to eat, but realise I have to eat for good nutrition & to stay healthy. I have allergies that have emerged & hospitalised me but in total every day has been worth it. I love my sleeve & it has revolutionised my life. So it has not been a struggle to loose weight for me rather than a struggle trying not too become malnourished or vitamin/mineral depleted. Very different to say the least.

I would love to get into the 14 stones in the next 6 weeks. I shall try my best. Certainly the daily boost of my vanilla whey protein shake with added fruit seems to have rocketed me out of my long term stall. I believe I just wasn't eating enough. Still aiming for natural protein on a daily basis so seeming to find a way though it all. Thx for encouragement & support.

Yep, I think ensuring you are eating enough, plus a boost of protein really helps our tools work better. Have a great month, I am sure you can hit the 14s soon x

Sent from my iPad using WLSurgery

Thx a million. You've done so well too. Hope you have a good month as well.
I'm currently back t my house in France for a couple of weeks so gonna try to get in as much exercise as I can.

Well done you, bet you're feeling amazing! :talk017:

Fantastic. You've done brilliantly. Great that you are managing to eat so nutritiously when you struggle so much. Proven by your weight loss :) x
