Hi, they say it takes a good week to settle down. Have my pre balloon appt on Wednesday this week. Have decided to have it done in London so I can be home the same day, although more expensive. Hope you feel better soon HBC, an i'm sure maybe last minuite nerves for you Joanne. Shall be the same i'm sure. It's hard not to get annoyed with yourself for putting on weight in the first place. I would have gone for a band I think if my BMI were higher, But I cant do this alone any more and so a balloon is another chance. xx

Hope you are all feeling better. The cramps are normal and it is just as the balloon 'beds in' and they do go away in about a week. I am 11 weeks in and have no side effects at all unless I eat too much and then I get a little crampy.
