Bath after sleeve

I I was just wondering how long you were all told to wait to have a bath after your surgery ?

I was told 4 weeks I can't wait for a bath ! Lol

I wasn't told anything and had one the day I came home...
Advised not to go to public swimming pool until 6weeks post-op, but no mention of having a bath.

I'm a bypass, but had a bath the day after i left hospital. Nothing was said about baths and I figured as long as I kept my dressings dry, it would be okay. I did use a good squirted of hibiscrub instead of bath foam though.

I was told two weeks. Until then I could have showers. About five days post op I slipped and fell in the shower. So I also couldn't wait to have a bath.

I used Badedas bath foam when I had my bath. It has horsechestnut extract to aid healing. I was told by my midwife to use it after I had my children by c-section, and it works. I also used it if the children had nappy rash and still do if they get cuts or scrapes. It smells nice too...
