Benefibre/Benefiber

Brunetteandred

Officially a loser
There's a bl**dy shortage or summat! Lloyds used to stock it and have now stopped.

Does anyone know if Tesco or anywhere else does?

Boots don't!

Sainsbury does since I buy mine there. Not sure where else?

Nic;)

i got some from tescos not long back :)

My local boots have discontinued it. Kept trying to thrust fibresure at me when I queried it. Got some in Sainsbugs half price.

mmmm if boots are discontinuing it I will pop in tomorrow get some if they have some left

Fibersure and benefiber are made from the same stuff soluble vegetable fiber....
from the benefiber website....
What is Wheat Dextrin?
Wheat Dextrin is a natural soluble fibre. Wheat Dextrin is considered "Gluten-Free" which means it contains only a trace amount of gluten ( i.e., less than 10 ppm gluten). Unlike some fibre supplements, Benefiber® made with Wheat Dextrin dissolves completely in water and won't thicken
Benefiber

this is from the fibersure website

It might be made from the same stuff but in my opinion it doesn't dissolve anywhere near as well as Benefibre. I tried it a few times as I'd bought a big tub of it but in the end it went in the bin, and I am the queen of frugal!

Never had any problems with it disolving for me.....horses for courses I guess:D

Have u tried psyllium husks from GNC.

Its is fantastic....softer stools...jelly like poops...(Sorry for the description)

I found psyllium after a major colitis flare up and continue to use it...there is the lose form or capsules...I prefer the lose stuff as I can add it to drinks or shakes.

Hope it helps.

No lol its just sainsburys ;)

tried psyllium when I was on CD, can't remember what the problem was but they went the same way as the fibresure in the end.

LOL

Well at the mo if people are having probs getting it loks like you can still order on line at boots

Benefiber - Stuffs yuck tastes like the Devils sperm, or so i've been told :D

I find Benefibre tasteless and it dissolves completely. I had inulin based fibre when I did LL & CD and that lumps up.

SS, I presume you have no personal experience of comparison? :D

I put it in my flavoured water, cup a tea and on my ready brekand porridge and can not taste it
