blowing tube?

Hi I was just wondering I was told by a few ppl on this site that you get a little tube to blow into pre op to get your lungs to open I was also told by the nurse at the pre op I would get it web i went to see star one of the surgeons assistance but she didn't give me one and i totally forgot about it till today .... should I ring up and ask for one or is it not that important I don't wanna be a pest and ring for no reason

its just like a little ball in a tube you just breath into 3 times a day for so many blows... you can do the same thing by taking 10 very deep breaths in an out 3 times a day x ring them and ask if it is neccesary or i you can just do the breathing ive just told you about xx
