Breathless

Hi all
Has anyone else been really breathless after their bypass? I feel a lot more out of breath than I did before the op despite the weight loss. Out of puff just going up my stairs and I don't like it x

Yes I also get out of breath easily, My Nurse has advised this is quite natural after the op.

I'm not too bad, struggling to eat much but trying to drink plenty of NAS squash. Trying to sip it is hard as I've always been a gulper! lol

This could very well be from the anesthetic. I'm sure it'll pass soon. Speedy recovery to all of you, X

Agree with inesc here. The anaesthetic can take weeks to leave the system.

Hey Yes, I had this too. Never had any breathing difficulties prior to the op. Found it hard to get a good lung full afterwards so found it difficult to breathe especially after moving. Fine now though, it doesnt last long!!
