Bruising

Has anyone else found they bruise constantly since WLS? I am covered in bruises but cannot remember getting any of them and I pretty much find a new one every day. I have never bruised easily which is the bit that's confusing....

Hey..I been noticing little ones.. on my arms lately..only maybe 1 at a time but I thought was bit odd..! Not sure what that is..but not massive I thought maybe done it in my sleep or something x

Hiya...this may be due to a deficiency in vitamin C,K, B9 or B12, this can lead to bruising that you didnt have issues with before.

Yep me too. I constantly have bruises since the op. Loads on my legs but not quite as many on my arms. In fact I have so many on my legs that I've actually bought a swimsuit with shorts attached as the bruises look so bad.

I had loads - they've diminished since my b12 shots. Be worth getting bloods checked

Thanks guys. Will call docs tomorrow and book in for some blood tests. I read elsewhere it may be iron or other things xx

You also bruise when you iron is too low too... Hope u get it sorted.. Xxxx
