You'll do it don't worry! Like you said this is the last time in your life you will be heavy and uncomfortable. I am sure you'll be fine on the pre-op, it's not too long in comparison to the rest of your life and next Christmas you'll be so much fitter and will be able to have dinner with the family, just a smaller portion.
