Califig

I was just wondering what everyone was taking for constipation.
What are we allowed post-op? I note Califig is a liquid but quite possibly full of sugar.
Any advice anyone?

Best bet is movicol. I was advised to avoid all senna based products until healed, but others have been given them.

I've got a bowel condition and have a machine to wash out my bowel but I'm avoiding using it until I'm healed incase the pressure makes me worse although the hospital thought it would be OK to use straight away.
I've had just about every type of laxative and have to say Movicol is one of the worst lol.
I'll have a look through the cupboard and give it a go.

I have always used movical. It is a natural laxative
