Would never fall out with you Liz, might disagree on a few things now and then, but never fall out. Life's too short to let small things get in the way of good things.

I respect you too...I learnt a lot from you.:)

This seems like a great time to hold hands and sing Kumbyar :D

Can you snack? well I guess you should follow the advice of your surgeon.

I guess it depends what you call a snack :D

For me a snack used to be just four rounds of toast, No cheese though  now it would be half a dozen grapes or some melon.

I take Liz's point, snacking outside of your daily food allowance should be avoided simply because it is behavior associated with your previous lifestyle.

I eat five times a day and two of those meals could be described as snacks, (some grapes is one meal, and a yogurt is another) but I don't use the snack word. I tend to work best by total abstinence as a taste of honey is worse than none at all (Now theres a cue for a song)

if im hungry i snack iv never been told either way weather i should if i do i have yogurt as caz said zero yog with a sppon of hunny is lush or i have 2 crackers low fat cream cheese on and im totally honest if im pmting i have 2 mouthfulls of chocolate muffin, and if its hot i have mini twister icelollys as they are only 40cals . i tend to have a snack if my tummy proper growling i have them more mid morning as i really struggle with brekkie, your only on your first fill as you get more restriction you probably wont need to have them as often

I'm guessing why Kate may have posted this thread is because if you are with THG, you do get a little food diary booklet to complete and for each day there is a space to write down what snacks you have had.

I've only spoken to the dietician once and she asked me what I was having for snacks...I try not to snack, but if I don't manage a meal very well and feel like I need something after a while I have had.

It's down to different WLS providers I guess :)
