Is there a minimum weight you must be above before a surgeon will agree to perform a liposuction operation?

I was looking to have one done but I have to travel quite far just to get a consultation and I don't really want to waste money on travel just to be told 'no'.

I don't know whether there's a minimum weight, but you would have to convince that you had fat to get rid of, so you may be wasting your time I'm afraid.

No, there is no minimum weight that you must have whatsoever. Generally, plastic surgeons say that if you pinch any part of your body and there is an inch or more of fat or 'flab', then you are eligible for liposuction. However, I have known many a slim woman undergo liposuction. You are never wasting your time if you have questions that matter to you! Good luck!
