Chicken curry - soft onwards

MissDiet

Come on lbs!!!
Really easy recipe

Ingredients
1 onion thinly chopped
Sliced cooked chicken (sainsburys chargrilled 160g ish packet i use)
Swartz mild curry powder
Swartz medium curry powder
Tin of diced tomatoes 450g ones
Flora crusine oil

Put about 1 or 1 1/2 table spoon of flora crusine in a pan

Get the oil warm

Throw in the diced onion

Sautee the onions

Add about 1 tble spoon of each curry powder to onion and stir

Keep stirring on warm medium heat till the aromas come from spice (1-2 mins)

Break the packet chicken up into small pieces

Add chicken to pan

Warm chicken through for about 4-5 mins

Add the tinned tomatoes and mix up

I add a little water, maybe half a cup

Warm through the curry on medium heat

Test the chicken is hot. Taste to see if spicy enough. Add more if needed

I think you could eat this on a soft stage as the chicken just melts in the mouth.

I've re-warmed this up and was fine.

Enjoy

Sounds yummy, can I ask why you use pre cooked chicken? Is it becuase it's quicker or do you just like the soft texture?

Hey,

I found it was cheaper, juicy and saves time :)

You dont really the the rough texture or possible dryness if you use raw

Well I might give it a go one day this week. I had chicken curry for my dinner today, it was a low fat ready meal, I just ate the chicken pieces and a little bit of the sauce, plus one small spoon of rise. Went down well but yours sounds much nicer. It has been ages since I made or ate a proper curry though!!

If it wasnt easy i wouldnt be cooking it haha

Sounds lovely. I'm guessing you could add in some peppers at the saute stage too.

Looking forward to trying all these recipes when I get off this blooming liquid diet and onto soft foods again lol.
