It maybe because of your work, but it may also be the inevitability of the op. ie you KNOW you HAVE to have surgery to stand any chance of leading a normal life, so bring it on! Thats how i feel anyway

Really I got my op on the 21st and I'm a bit scared but that's normal I think. X

I was nervous and still asking myself if I was doing the right thing right up till the night before then a sort of serenity came over me and I was absolutely fine. Glad you're not scared.

there really is nothing to be worried about, but i think im a bit like you i have ad ops before so i wasnt really worried at all... but it is natural for some people to be scared...its a big step onto a wonderful journey xx

After being scared wittless over my last op which i had no choice but to have as it was womb cancer i am terrifide again and hope im up first or can have a pre med to keep me calm, i know you will be around hun and that makes me a little calmer but last time i was not allowed a pre med and hubby came right into the anesthetic room to hold me down, i nearly did a runner (ok a fast walk ).
