Compression Stockings

Does anyone know where to get compression stockings to fit my fat calves? I need to get some because I am having my op in the Czech Republic. I remember not being able to fit the boots ones over my calves when I had to have them during my pregnancy. I have looked around a bit and the measurements are confusing. Could be me just being a thicko...LOL

sorry i can't help mel but i'm sure someone will help you out soon. i'm going to be an nhs patient so fortunately they provide these things!
how about checking online on specific medical sites? might be an option darlin. good luck

If my op was before urs I'd sneak mine out for u, have u tried boots? I'd go in and open a pack and have a look.

I have a pair or large ones I came home with from the hospital the largest my hospital does there brand new in packet if you send me your address I'll gladly post them for you x

They couldnt find any stockings to fit my legs when i went so came home without them, they told me as long as i am active and walking about every hour it shouldnt be a problem.

You can get class 1 made to measure from your practice nurse - they measure all the areas up your leg and send the measurements with the prescription and they send directly to your house, usually within 3 working days - However I forgot mine and was sized wrong in a rush to get ready for theatre as the porter was waiting outside the door and I have legs that now look like a bumble bee with bruised rights where they were too tight!
