it does seem to be the norm at Walsall but it all depends on your individual funding. I have had mine done laparoscopically at Walsall but I was lucky and was funded by Dudley for it.

Had my surgery on the 4th of April and these are my scars the top 3 have healed the quickest and the bottom 2 (the biggest being my port) are taking a little longer...before anyone freaks out they are taken up close and a couple of them are a bit red but thats where the scabs have fallen off in the last 24 hours making them look more sore than they actually are....on the top 3 I'm using Bio-oil now and will start on the bottom ones ion a few days, oh and i didn't have stitches I had very wide sterri strips I will post a photo of that if I can find it

Mine is similar to Teen's (will try and upload some pics tomorrow). It's 8.5 inches long and healed really well. No infection, weeping or anything! sbfpurplepixie inspected it in person last Saturday!

Mine was a bloody nightmare, it all opened up which wasnt pleasant so I won't post pick's of that. Left a big crappy scar though, gone a ruined my brad pitt abbs it has ................. pmsl.
