Hi Guys
Quick question.

I was wondering how long it was before you could actually drive after surgery. I know they say 10 days but how soon do you think you could actually have driven after your op.

I've just gone for a little drive today and I'm just over a week post op , as long as you feel able to do an emergency stop and feel ok ( no pulling ) , I would say suck it and see ;-) x

Im due for mine on 24th now.

I was also told, to my immense surprise, that I could drive whenever I felt I wouldn't crash the car. I drove about for days post op, just a very local trip, and I drove on eggshells as I felt my reactions weren't as sharp as usual.

I am now six weeks post op tomorrow and feel great!

Don't forget to check your insurance if you intend to drive less than a month post-op
