How that poor lad lives with those tumours I dont know.Makes you ashamed to moan about 'stuff'in your own life.I cried my eyes out for him.

i know bless him, the op looked horrific, wont they grow back tho? as its a condition?...x

he could have at least washed his hair when he went back though - he looked a right greese ball!

i missed it tonight, i used to love watching this, but for some reason i seem to miss it this time round, was anybody really helped apart from this young lad, what was wrong with him, its dosnt sound nice whatever it is

he had massive tumours on his neck, face and back and he had them all cut off! x

Maybe he was depressed and feeling rely down before hand i know I wouldn't really be in the frame of mind to care about my appearance!
And after maybe he was still in some
Pain from the surgery.

oh the poor thing, was he dirty or was it just his colouring, is it gonna be on again, if so does anyone know when

Dawny to be honest I think it was his colouring ... Bless him. Do you remember the programme four did about the "bubble man" very similar condition to him but not as severe, incurable and small tumour all over his body some of which grow the one they took off the back of his head weighed around 4lbs.
Very interesting programme tonight and my heart goes out to this man what a burden to bare.
Not sure if they repeat it maybe Sunday night? Channel four seem to repeat things then . XX

He couldnt shave cos of the ones on his face,he had dark hair and colouring. It will keep coming back.My heart went out to him and the other sufferers they showed. This is what the elephant man had I think.

That poor poor man, I did feel for him. We all know what it is like to carry excess weight, but over 4lbs around the neck and head must have been so draining on a daily basis.

He looked so much better afterwards, I should think he was still healing as it wasn't that long after his op, he was back in the clinic.

I am just surprised he got to the stage he did, before anything was done, but as it was a life long condition, maybe he had had ops before, and for a while thought enough was enough until they got to big to live with. It did sound like the consultant will keep on top of any new growths before they get too large again.

ah i think i know the condition u mean pirate, what a shame that he had something like that. ill check out channel 4 for a repeat, thanks huni xx
