Mr Sigurdson from THG is my hero. He is lovely and brilliant and professional and kind. He also got irate about the toll on the Severn Bridge which warmed me to him even more.

think I must be the odd one out here as I find neither Somers nor Slater good looking lol.

Sorry girls, :eek:;):D

Errrrr I don't get it either :eek::eek::eek::eek:

(I am also feeling a bit left out of the lurve-vibe because my surgeon is a woman :D Still think she's great though (Even though she has also had her hands on my OH's private bits * :eek: - good thing I am not the jealous type!) )

Goodness - I thought people only got crushes on their counsellors! My Mr Sufi is wonderful but I dont find him attractive at all. It was his adeptness with a scalpel that interested me LOL!

There is something about both Mr Slater and Mr Somers and no doubt some of the other bariatric surgeons. I once read an interview with an American bariatric surgeon and he said that nothing gives him more joy than seeing a patient a year down the line when they have transformed into butterflies and are living their dreams. Maybe that's it - a sense that they give a sh** and actually want to help. That and their amazing bedside manner! (and for some, their handsome features!).

Just watched today's Fat Doctor - and the anaesthatist on today was the one I had. I think HE is lovely! His nickname is Gently Bently (Dr Bently) - and he is very gentle and attentive, calmed me down loads before I went off to sleep...

At my first hospital one of the registrars was adorable (made me blush every time I saw him). But when I was taken into A & E with my problematic band he had to do a rectal examination - sadly I could never look him in the eye again...

You can call yourself a 'fan club' any time you like, however to publicise it, you will need a web site name (domain name) like for instance 'GuySlaterfanclub.co.uk' or something - you have to buy this, then organise some web space, design a web site or page then host it. The domain will cost you approx £20 per year if it is a .co.uk, or you can get cheaper ones, you can also get free hosting packages but they will have ads everywhere. You can pay for a bit of web space which will also provide you e-mail addresses such as mandy @ guyslaterfanclub.co.uk... not a good idea to have a free site if you are going to host a forum...

Give me a shout if you need a hand - been at this malarkey for years and also have a web server so can let you have a bit of web space, host the site & provide the services. I will help you even if you decide to go with a different hosting package.

:)
