I'm feeling excited now as the time is just flying by. I'm right at the end of the February surgeries so all the rest of you will have been done and can tell me all about it.

Doing ok Carol hun2 weeks now and almost back to normal, tummy still bruised and wounds still healing and a tad sore still but in myself great, tired but that lack of food. Am in sloppy stage for another 2 weeks before i can move onto mushys, so its small portions til tummy heals. I feel hungry but tummy is satisfied so thats ok but i look forward to every mealtime
tonight its sloppy fish pie lol may add some chilli sauce to give it a kick, everything is bit bland although had a lovely soup at lunchtime. was a tin of lidls vegetable soup strained it tasted like spag bol sauce yum was so nice to have some flavour lol but on the plus side i've lost 13lb since op so thats almost 2 1/2 stone since starting pre op so im not complaining
you wont be long before your joining me !! are you band or bypass?
I thought swimming n light exercise once scars healed. Then gradual more action, BUT no weightlifting, hard exercise n gym hard work till after post op check up n then only gradually. Hope that helps. previous bander, revision to by pass.
im the biggest wimp going and i did fine lol the wind pain after was the worst. For me a few stones off would be great just enough to get my mobility back then at least i can get out and walk which all helpsHi crystal, what a fabulous loss you have had, I'm so pleased for you, I am having the band, I would like to lose 4-5 stone, I will be happy with 4 but delighted for any additional lbs, I'm starting to get quite nervous now that it's less than a week away, at the same time looking forward to it, I'm really not good with pain at all and yet I'm such a strong person, I even asked for an epidural after one contraction when I was in labour with my son lol. It's great to know what everyone eats it gives me loads of information on here, everyone is great responding to all the posts.
