hi all has anyone been on the food for thought programme.
1) is it good....
2)does it stop you putting food in your mouth.
3)is it another fob off by the doctors
please advice.:sigh:
Yes I attended this two years ago. You tend one session either afternoon or morning for 6 weeks. I found it helpful in the fact it taught me no food was bad food and that low fat options are not the best etc. I did not loose weight with it but it did stop me feeling guilty about eating food. It also helped me to get funding as you have to be seen to have tried everything. It was a great group started off with about ten and dropped to about 7, all ages etc. Some wanting to loose weight to have babies and others wanting to be healthy. You also get one to ones with a dietician which I found very helpful as they were a smashing girls...I think I was on one of the first when it was launched so it might have been tweaked by now...xx
