im after ideas for different liquid and sloppy/mushy foods for first few weeks after banding does anyone have any good suggestions as my mind is going blank!

Hi sorry i am a bypasser. lovebug had some great ideas on a previous thread if you take a look. I lived on jelly, soup yoghart to begin with but i'm sure others will offer you some more advice x

as things get thicker, mashed potato, mushy peas, soup, slim fast, compan (or build up) etc.

hi one of my favs is fish pie its never lets me down, i like the asda frozen good for you one its just nice and goes down well, satisfying too. another suggestion is shepherds pie with a little gravy and well cooked brockli and cauli, that works for me. i also make a low fat chilli con carni wich can be frozen into small portions which is handy to put over a jacket spud, only eat the middle of the spud if the skins cant be tollerated.
i hope my ideas help !

oooh with the fish pie, my fave (bought one) is the tesco value. Value meals are nearly always low in fat and sugar, because both are expensive ingredients! It's worth comparing them with the weight watchers etc equivalent.

I'm in the transitional phase between liquid and mushy food, so far i've tried scrambled egg, a sloppy 1 egg cheese omellete and a small bowl of very loose ready brek. All have been ok so far, no side effects or issues with it passing through.

You could also try big soups, spag bol, shepheards pie, fish pie (as suggested) cheesy mash, baked beans, fish in parsley sauce.

Good luck and happy experiementing

ooo i forgot to say tinned tomatoes with instant mash is another of my favs (not everybodys cuppa tea tho !) i also like heinz spaghetti in a bowl with a tiny bit of grated cheese for taste.
