Two very dear friends got hitched at the weekend so I thought I'd share some pictures with you guys. These are very special people and I love them both. The event was 180 miles away and that meant a stop over and as the hotel only had a limited number of rooms we had originally planned last year to book a hotel about ten miles away for Val and I. Then I got ill and then I was diagnosed with liver and pancreas cancer and knowing how bad the pain and sickness can get without warning, the bride and groom were concerned about Val and I being alone in a hotel nearly two hundred miles from home. So when a room in the castle became free they insisted we take it. That way I would have lots of people around me if I needed them, and more importantly Val would not be left stranded if I had to go into a local hospital. They even insisted on paying for it and at £200 a night it wasn't cheap. Like I said wonderful lovely people.
These are the first pictures of me since I was diagnosed with cancer and please don't be kind here I know I look dreadful so no one post how great I look but the event was fantastic the couple and guests had a fantastic day and my Val looked stunning as usual. I was ill but only for a couple of hours and after a lie down curled up on the floor sweating and crying like a baby
