funny pain under sternum?

Hi everybody
I'm now 5 months out and have had no previous problems but over the past 2 weeks I have developed an odd pain under my sternum and under the bottom part of my left ribs, it seem to get worse when I haven't eaten for a while like in the morning or the evening. Does anyone have any ideas what that may be?

Sounds similar to what some of us have been experiencing, could it be trapped wind because its what the docs think is our problem. I have been takeing 2 buscopan each morning and it has helped a great deal worth a try or you can see your gp. xx

Thanks Christ I'll give that a try, feels a bit odd though that my pain is not near the intestines rather where my pouch sitts. I'll see my GP on Tuesday for my bloods so will mention it to him x

Yes me and chrisa have gone into great discussions about these sort of pains!...lol
Wind pains are usual culprit,does your tummy bloat up?

No no bloating at all just a burning pain under my sternum

could be acid if it persist get checked out incas tis gallstones xx
