got date for barium swallow and 1st fill

hi everyone got date for barium swallow it is next wednesday 27th may also just booked 1st fill sat 20th june cant wait as im constantly hungry and finding it hard will keep you all posted thanks for all your support. Julie x

do you not get a fill at the same time as your barium swallow?

thanks jenni i really hope so im feeling constantly hungry and thinking of food all the time mind you im sure it will take a while to break my cycle of last 12 years lol how many fills have you had?

hi red, think its different for me as i had to fly over from belfast and girls who do fills only come over certain days of month, i speak to dietitian next week and then see her day of my first fill so cant wait i never thought id see the day i would be pleased about food restriction lol

Is the barium thing the norm? my first fill is 15th june, barium was not mentioned though!?

hi mazza its just barium swallow xray to check if band in right place im not sure if its norm maybe some of the post op banders know. Julie

mazza was just looking up info on first adjustment it says it is performed under xray control (fluoroscopy) as i have to fit in with girls flying over to do fills it must work slightly different, you must get xray and fill on same day. Julie x
