got date.. what next

Hello all,

went to see my surgeon and we talked through having the band etc and then he said right i would like to schedule you in on the 1st Sept.. i was in agreement. He said that I will need to do pre op diet etc for only a week and the dietician will be in touch.

Is there anything else that I will do prior to the surgery.. I am having to pay and it all seems a bit relaxed..

Can anyone help?

I have found it to be this way too. I am going privately through Healthier weight and everything seems so relaxed and laid back and I'm sat here thinking, well, its 17 days to go . . .some info would be nice to help
