Got my date - scared

Hi all,
so i finally have my date and i now need to do the LSD.
i am quite nervous about the surgery, even though i am also looking forward to it.
what were your biggest surprises immediately after surgery?
how long before you were able to go out and about again?

Hi, I had a band to bypass revision just over 3 weeks ago. I felt excited and nervous about the op. Biggest surprise... turning the corner. I felt so sick and in quite a bit of pain for the first two days and it felt like that’s how I’d feel forever and then all of a sudden it got better. I could go out after about 5 days but only for a tiny bit of fresh air. Short walk by about day 7. Back to work after 2 weeks. It’s amazing how you feel better by the day. 3 weeks on and I feel back to normal - scars pretty much healed too. I suppose we’re all different in how recover though.
