Hi

I am 7 weeks post op and have developed a milk intolerance so cannot have milk, yoghurt, protein shake for breakfast.
I'm back at work next week, and wanted to grab something in the morning to eat at work or in the car, ideally something with protein.
Any ideas? Xxx

I'm milk intolerant so i use oat milk and slimfast, which i know has a small amount of milk in, but you may still be ok with that. worth a try on a day your not working. If not just cereal with oat milk.

Boil some eggs beforehand and slice them ready in a box to take to work?

Could you try oat milk, as suggested, or almond milk or soy milk? You can get soy yoghourts from the Health Shop and from supermarkets. You can also get soy and other non-dairy cheeses and spreads, as well as lots of sweet and savoury things that are sugar-free. Sucrose and Lactose often cause problems after WLS.

There are lots of online stores that specialise in sugar free and dairy free items. Have a peek!
