I believe the weightloss in its self helps control it, as for cream im not sure. x

Ive not got PCOS just always suffered from hairy chin and lip. I think for me its genetic as my gran, mum and sister also suffer.
I have had laser treatment in the past and was considering having another few sessions but think i will talk to my GP about the cream and give that a go.
Bigand bouncy how long have you been using it, how long before you saw positive results?

I have chin hairs as a result of being on medication a few years ago. I've noticed that as I shrink the hairs are becoming fewer and don't seem to grow as fast. Whether this is the weight loss or matches the hair loss on my head I don't know!

Hi girls I dont have pcos,my hair is only really on chin /under chin at front.Used a male hormone type hrt years ago and became hairy!Anyway have used vaniqa for 4 months and growth has really slowed down,finer regrowth too.You can buy it on line for about 30 pounds a small tube or get it in prescription off gp.Would use about three or four tubes I think by the time mine has all gone.Used to shave nearly every day now 1/2 times per week.Has dried my skin in that area a little but hey rather have that than beard!:8855:

I have never been diagnosed with PCOS however, my top lip is particularly hairy, with dark hairs. As i lose more and more weight, it's becoming more noticable, and is something i'm extremely self conscious about. I also have dark course chin hairs that i tend to pluck as there are only a few.

Would this vaniqa cream help with the top lip problem, or does anyone else have any suggestions?

have hair on my chin and belly not sure if it through overweight pcos or my own doing, once when i was 18 i thought the fine bearly visable hair needed saving off !!!!! and from then on they got blacker and thicker and thicker.
Gonna see if doc will help me out. last time was prescribed the pill !!

Thanks to big and bouncy I have just been prescribed teh cream.
I have got it for 4 months and if no improvement i dont get it again so here hopefully goes my beard LOL
doctor said - no where as bad as i think it is lol I know but who wants chin hairs.

just a quick note to anyone who is actively trying to conceive and thinking of buying this cream privately.
if u are getting it on presciption im sure ur gp will tell u that it is dangerous to use this cream when pregnant and they wont prescribe to anyone who is even trying to get pregnant due to the high risk of miscarriage.
