sometime ago someone posted a thread about bariatric cards to let people know you have had the op. i am trying to find them but cant. can anyone help thanks xx

BOSPA web site if you join they send you your membership card which has on the back the statement you have had surgery and can't eat large portions to please allow you to order a small portion or from the children's menu. Life time membership costs a one off £20 you can download the form from the site simples.

When I had the gastric band my surgeon signed a little card that stated what I had done, instructions to other medical professionals to phone him if they needed help etc etc and a little picture of the procedure. I can't remember if I got it right after the op or at my 6 week follow up. I know that this time with the bypass I didn't get anything like that yet but live in hope
