Hi all.
I'm just wondering. How soon after a bypass can you go abroad on holiday?

and would there be any restriction on where you could go?

I'd love a holiday in the sun before the end of the year....but is it possible?

Or wise?

Hi, I had my bypass in March and went to France in May/June, I must admit I drove rather than flew. The biggest problem I had was finding food that I could safely eat. All that lovely cheese, groan it was hell!! LOL

I had my op in Jan and went to belguim in the march No probs what so ever

i would prob just think we'll ill leave it say the required time they tell you to take it easy then go, eeeek but i suppose food would be a nightmare, god imagine going to say italy with all that lovely food or america!!!

I'd ask your provider and also remember you will need to tell your holiday insurer that you have had a rny surgery xx
