At least you have a definite date. I am waiting to hear whenmy "spring 2012" op might be but am likely to be told at my surgery review on 16 Jan. It *might* be March, but it *might* be April if they have long lists etc.
So my future op date is still an unknown quantity -- you have a piece of paper in black and white telling you a definite date !!
The time will fly what with Xmas and Easter etc.
