Iron suplements

I have just started taking iron tabs, but they seem to be giving me really bad stomach upsets. Well I think it's the iron, anybody else had this problem ?

Yep me too, I stopped taking them then decided to try and give it a go again last week but half the daily dose...still no joy..I am waiting for blood tests to come back to check my levels, the nurse said to eat lots of broccoli and kale as it will help...when I was pregnant many moons ago I was unable to take it and they nearly put me on an iron drip after the birth then found out I was allergic to iron!!...xx
