Thanks sweet x I really need to get into it xxx Thankyou all do much xx

we bought a new dinner set few weeks back and to say the plates are small is an under statement so the side plates are not much bigger than saucers and the dinner plates not much bigger than side plates so i have been using them the smaller on weekdays and the larger on sunday as love my sunday roasts while i can still enjoy it though i do have more veg now than roasties

Yes we did the same but was fortunate to find a full dining set in the cancer research chastity shop for £6 :D ..It had three different size plates. The usual larger dinner ones and a much smaller dinner plate. The side plates are not much bigger than a saucer so I use the small dinner plate which is ideal for me as long as I keep my meals within the wide rim. Only the hungry Horace's in my family (sons) get the large ones everyone else uses the smaller one. Works a treat and even hubby is losing weight with the change.

hiya, i started eating off a side plate about a month before my op lost over a stone on the pre op! Definately a good idea. Have recently upgraded my side plates to some lovely glass ones from ikea with small bowls and small mugs to match x x

I used the excuse of a visit ti Ikea today to buy my small plates and because I'm a bargain hunter also found quite a few out her useful things too, ie small bowls. Really chuffed with myself too as hubby tucked into meatballs and chips I had a strawberry yogurt and a coffee even though he was buying and wasn't tempted at all so far so good :)
