Anyone know how long the wait is on Dr Ameet Patels list?
He has quoted 18wks but others been told a year. Confusing....

Well, I was put on the list in feb, then they said June - but when I phoned them to see how I was doing on the waiting lust they said they were still going through last year's lust and hadn't started on 2013 yet, so we'd be looking at the end of this year. Gutted.

Hi im refered to kings too did either of you get put on the list at the first app with the surgon ?

Yes. I went to the group session, (October) then waited for an appointment (February) and was put on the list then.

Was the group session the first thing you did or did you have a different appointment first ?

The group thing was first. I was referred at the end of June, so that took a whole to come through.

I'm under Chelsea and Westminster but my best friends hubby is kings. He did group then met mr Patel who told him op within 18wks but other people's posts seem to contradict this so bit confusing. He isn't the type to call and chase up.
