Had my band taken out on weds 21st May and am a happy lady...
After ten years it was time to say goodbye to it ..
Was a great tool whilst it was in working order and I had a fab loss with it.. 8st or so
Have put six of that back on since it was unfilled
Had quite a rare complication .. It had become kinked.... Was rubbing on my liver which has left some scarring and is also what had made me very poorly a year ago and hospitalised me for a week....
Good news is that I am now all good to have my bypass .. Surgeon said he will be happy to do it in three months time once I am all healed ..
Soft diet for a week and then back to normal food
Can't wait to have a crunchy healthy salad and not be violently sick ...
Have had a dreadful diet for the last year as too scared to eat the very foods that make us healthy... So hopefully once I've stopped eating slider food I may actually lose a bit if weight..
Onwards and upwards into bypass land and that golden losers bench xxx
