Looking at sleeve in berkshire

Hi

I live in Bracknell and am now looking at a gastric sleeve. I'm looking at funding but have no idea how to start with this. I'm also getting made redundant soon and will be getting a pay out. It's either a trip to Disney for my family (a one time opportunity)! Or a sleeve.


So I guess I'm asking if anyone has any experience in funding in my area and/or if u can recommend any surgeons.

NHS funding is a long road but go to your GP to get the ball rolling

If you're paying privately, I'd say go for it and save for Disney once you're working again - you'll enjoy it more slim! xx

Berks pct guidelines were +50 bmi, unless you have contra-indications, last time I checked which was end of 2011 x

I was under Bucks before and they wanted 50+BMI plus conditions... I had both and was refused. Even though I jumped every hoop given to me.

Now under Imperial - St Mary's London. (not sure of process yet) x
