i was given a bottle to pee into but i could'nt go sitting in bed (46 years of not wetting the bed ) it was a relief when i started drinking water and was able to take my drips to the loo ................what a relief that was but my wee was green (i'm not the hulk) for some reason

Thank you for sharing your experience. How strange that all hospitals have such wildly different diets both pre op and post op. Ours only allow fluids for 2 weeks, puree for 2 weeks then mashed for 2 weeks.
I hope you have a trouble free and swift recovery. x

Great read, hope my goes as smoothly if I ever get there! It would be great to share diet sheets and compare them, I know there are posts and places on here. I keep thinking "oh I will bookmark this post and come back and ask when I'm at the same stage". Thanks for sharing keep well. x
