Hi all.
I get my bypass on Sept 10th. I find myself swinging between 'hey great, lets get at' it and 'OH my God what am I doing!'
Is this common or am I alone? I've struggled with my weight for years and I've several health problems that can only improve with loosing the fat so I know it's the right thing to do it's just every now and then!!!
Paul.

hi paul ,i feel like that,im sure thats normal as i have read a few peoples threads on that subject.
take care

In a word....YES! lol

It's a scary thing to have surgery anyway but it's also scary worrying about all the changes post op etc but bloomin heck is it exciting too!

Personally, I had to stop thinking about it at all once mine was booked so as to calm those massive swings. Dealt with it on the day so to speak and am so amazingly glad I did!

Good luck with your op, don't overthink it any more. x

I feel like this and I haven't even got a date yet :)

Not alone as I too feel just like this. I'm like a pendulum swinging from yayyyyyhh whoohoo to uuuurggghhh gulp!
