newbie with pre-op tomorrow!

Hi everyone! I've never posted but have read quite a lot of posts. I'm getting really nervous now. I have my pre-op tomorrow and I just feel sick! More to do with the anaesthetic than anything else. My oh is really worried about it too which isn't helping. I don't have a date for surgery yet but with the pre-op I'm expecting it to be within the next couple of weeks.

Hope the apt went ok and they were able to put your mind at rest about some things. This is major surgery and not to be taken lightly but the benefits can be huge.

Hi thanks for the reply. I've thought loooooong and hard about it all before I decided to go for it. The anaesthetist was great said I was in the lowest risk band for a high risk surgery iykwim. I'm otherwise fit n healthy so no extra medical issues to consider. I'm feeling much better now. Still don't have a date but looking at next 6 weeks! !!
