Hi all!

I've found this forum so useful over the past year or so, before and after my surgery. I'm not a prolific poster but I am a long time lurker!

It's been the one year anniversary of my surgery this week! My weight is now 77Kg down from 165Kg at the start so a total of 88Kg lost all in all :D

I actually stopped losing weight a couple on months ago, my BMI is around 22 and so I guess with my weight now being healthy the calories going in are matching the calories going out!

I made a lot of lifestyle changes in terms of excercise levels more than anything. I cycle a lot now and just finished my first competitive time trial which is something I wouldn't have ever thought possible a year ago.

I've gone from wearing a 5XL in clothes to wearing a small which is still mind boggling! I've My restriction is is probably half of what it used to be which is fine by me - I still feel it and it's still only allowing me to eat a fraction of what I used to eat before the surgery.

I've linked some pics here including one of me one day post surgery and ones taken in the last couple of weeks. I really would reccomend this surgery to anybody - it really is life changing, I've never really had a normal sized body before so it's still a novelty everyday!!
